Big Time Wrestling debuts at Truist Field

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Big Time Wrestling made its debut at Truist Field on Friday night. The Charlotte Knights hosted some big names, and headlining the event was none other than WWE Hall of Famer, Sting. While fans were pumped to see some wrestling greats, Hulk Hogan’s death this week was certainly on the minds of many, including other pro-wrestlers.

Professional wrestler Shotzi Blackheart says, “Hogan, he changed the game for wrestling. If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know that there would be a WWE like it is right now. There wouldn’t be an NXT like it is right now. He definitely changed wrestling and made it more mainstream.”

The Carolinas have a rich history in professional wrestling. If you missed it Friday night, there’s another Big Time Wrestling event coming up this December in Spartanburg.
