A driver died after losing control of their vehicle and overturning in York County on Saturday, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around midnight on Smith Ford Road, approximately eight miles west of the City of York.
Troopers said the driver was traveling south in a Chevy pickup when they traveled off the right side of the road, then off the left side of the road, struck a ditch, and overturned.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The driver was the sole occupant and died from his injuries sustained in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
