Marine charged in deadly crash

A marine stationed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina is facing charges in connection to a deadly crash that happened Thursday on Interstate 40.

Highway patrol say Diego Duque was speeding when changed lanes, hit a Mercedes, then lost control before hitting a guardrail. He also hit two more cars before eventually stopping.

The passenger in his car, Jesus Colin, died a short time later at the hospital.

Duque is facing charges including misdemeanor death, careless and reckless driving, and unsafe lane change.
