Deputies make arrest in Cabarrus County homicide

UPDATE:

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office says an arrest has been made after a man was found shot to death in Rockwell on Friday.

Detectives arrested 46-year-old Nathaniel Lee Lynn in Salisbury on Saturday. Lynn was taken to the Cabarrus County Detention Center and charged with murder.

He is being held without bond.

The Sheriff’s Office says they were able to locate two vehicles they were previously looking for.

The investigation is ongoing.

CABARRUS CO, NC – A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death in the driveway of a home in Rockwell.

The Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office says on Friday at 9:48 a.m. they found 76-year-old Ralph Eudy suffering from several gunshot wounds on Emanuel Road.

EMS confirmed Eudy died at the scene.

The public’s help is needed in locating the victim’s missing truck, a 2012 white Chevrolet Colorado with NC license plate ZV-9249. They say there is a noticeable stain on the tailgate.

Detectives also say they would like to speak to a man that was seen driving a silver 2005-2006 Dodge Stratus in the area around the time of the incident. Detectives say the man in the Dodge Stratus is not connected to the crime and they would like to speak to him to determine if he has any information that can help in the investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking if you know the person associated with the silver Dodge or have any information about the location of victim’s missing truck, to call the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office at (704) 920-3000.
