Pat’s Place hosts 21st annual BBQ & Blue Jeans to end child abuse
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center is grabbing their blue jeans and hosting the party of the summer at the 21st annual BBQ & Blue Jeans fundraiser.
The festival will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 5309 Germaine Terrace, Charlotte, NC 28226.
Now in its 21st year, this beloved event is a cornerstone of Pat’s Place’s mission to end child abuse in Mecklenburg County, with proceeds directly supporting critical care for children and families impacted by abuse.
BBQ & Blue Jeans has raised more than $3 million in total over the years to ensure these life-saving services remain free for every family that needs them.
This year’s goal: $175,000.
“BBQ & Blue Jeans holds a special place in our hearts. It brings together longtime supporters, new faces, and neighbors who care deeply about protecting children,” said Pat’s Place CEO Andrew Oliver. “We hope guests walk away feeling more connected to our mission and inspired by the impact this community can make together. It’s incredible to see that support grow stronger year after year.”
Attire is casual; think blue jeans, sundresses and backyard BBQ vibes. Guests can expect delicious barbecue from Midwood Smokehouse, ice-cold beer provided by Adams Beverage, and a full bar sponsored by Alston & Bird, with non-alcoholic beverages courtesy of Coca-Cola Consolidated. Live music by Cameron Moore will set the tone for a celebratory summer night, thanks to entertainment sponsor Dilworth Animal Hospital.
Thanks to the generous support of Champion sponsor QuikTrip, the event will offer something for everyone to enjoy. The evening will feature multiple ways to give back, including a live auction featuring exclusive experiences and packages, and a chance to win a party cart raffle with an additional donation.
A limited number of tickets may be available closer to the event.
