Temperatures Warming With Rain Back In The Forecast
Temperatures gradually rise through the week
Forecast:
Tonight: Mostly clear. Lows near 60. Mountain communities in the low 50s.
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the low 80s. Scattered showers return to the mountains.
Thursday: Warmer with increasing humidity. Highs in the mid to upper 80s. Breezy with wind gusts up to 20 mph. Isolated showers possible in the piedmont with more scattered activity in the mountains.
Friday: Sunny skies with highs near 90.
Tropics:
A tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic will likely become a tropical depression late this week or this weekend. Environmental and atmospheric conditions are conducive for development. Most models show this system turning into the open Atlantic before reaching the United States, but it is still too soon to know for sure. We will watch this closely.
