CLOVER, S.C. – A driver was killed after a fiery crash in York County early Saturday morning, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 1:19 a.m. on Lincoln Road near Woodstream Road, approximately one mile east of Clover, South Carolina.
Troopers said a 2011 Ford F-150 was traveling south on Lincoln Road. The highway patrol said that the driver went off the right side of the road, then went back onto and off the left side of the road before hitting a tree and becoming fully engulfed.
The driver was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene.
