The odds of a tropical system developing in the Atlantic continue to grow
Forecast:
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 50s, near 60.
Wednesday: Partly sunny. Highs in the low 80s.
Thursday: Sunny and warming up. Highs in the mid 80s.
Friday: Sunny and warm. Highs in the upper 80s near 90°.
Tropics:
– The odds of a tropical system developing in the Atlantic continue to grow. Invest 92L now has a high chance (90%) of formation. A tropical depression or Tropical Storm Gabrielle will likely form in the next day or two. The steering pattern looks to turn this system out to sea, but we will keep watching it.
– There is another tropical wave that just came off the coast of Africa. This will battle dry air. We will watch it. Right now, this has a low chance of development (20%)
