Tyrese Gibson turns himself in to face charge in dog attack
Tyrese Gibson turned himself into police in Atlanta Friday morning.
The singer turned actor, known for his role in The Fast and the Furious franchise, faces a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty. He posted a $20,000 bond and was released.
An arrest warrant for the 46-year-old Gibson was issued last week. It was tied to an alleged incident where a neighbor claims that Gibson’s dogs attacked and killed their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Earlier this week, Gibson’s attorney posted a statement that Gibson was out of town when that September 18th incident happened.
