CHARLOTTE, N.C. (October 16, 2025) β Tepper Sports & Entertainment (TSE) and Live Nation announced plans to partner for the new, privately funded entertainment venue in Uptown Charlotte. Conveniently located adjacent to Bank of America Stadium, the state-of-the-art venue will be a prime attraction for out-of-town guests and visitors exploring the city.
The 4,400-capacity indoor venue will host national headliners, global touring acts and comedy shows, bridging the gap between Charlotteβs intimate clubs and large arenas and amphitheaters, and further enhancing the cityβs appeal as an entertainment destination.
βThis new venue is a vibrant addition to Charlotteβs growing music scene and a strong complement to Bank of America Stadium,β said Kristi Coleman, Chief Executive Officer, Tepper Sports & Entertainment. βWith Live Nationβs deep industry insight, the venue is set to bring in the kinds of shows and live experiences that expand Charlotteβs entertainment offerings, contribute to economic growth and transform this corridor into a weekend destination district.β
βLive music is at its best when artists and fans have the right space to connect, and this new venue fills a gap in Charlotteβs music scene,β said Grant Lyman, President, Live Nation Southeast. βIt will bring fans closer to the artists they love, energize Uptown and strengthen Charlotteβs reputation as one of the countryβs great music cities.β
Blueprint Studio, Live Nationβs in-house design and development group, is leading the project. Every detail will be focused on the fan experience, including clear sightlines, premium seating with exclusive lounges and chef-driven menus. The venue will be designed to support artists at every stage of their career journey and is an investment in Charlotteβs entertainment future.
Construction is expected to fall within the stadium renovation timeline and will bring significant economic benefit to the community:
The venue is estimated to host more than 250,000 fans annually. Visitors from outside the Charlotte metro area alone are expected to generate $37.9 million in economic impact.
Out-of-town visitors are estimated to spend $21.2 million yearly on restaurants, hotels, and entertainment, generating $3.4 million in state and local tax revenue and supporting nearly 300 jobs.
