DAVIDSON, N.C. — One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash on Highway 73 near Huntersville Wednesday afternoon, according to MEDIC. Police say the road will remain closed as they investigate.
Huntersville Police say N.C. 73 near the Cabarrus County line is closed due to the active investigation.
The accident happened around 3pm on Davidson-Concord Road between Stanley McElrath Road and Summers Walk Boulevard. This is near Popular Tent Road.
Police say the road is expected to be closed through the evening commute.
