Firefighters rescue one person in east Charlotte apartment fire

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte firefighters rescued one person from an east Charlotte apartment fire Thursday morning.

Firefighters battled the blaze on Terrybrook Lane for 20 minutes, according to CFD.

The person who was rescued by firefighters was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Their condition is unknown at this time.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
