Rising’s Pet of the Week from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is Mowgli! A five-year-old black domestic shorthair, Mowgli is a friendly and affectionate boy who is seeking a forever family to play and cuddle with.
He loves his wand toy, is an enthusiastic and neat eater, and has perfect litter box manners. Dogs don’t bother him, and he enjoys being around other cats while also being very respectful of their boundaries. Mowgli came into the shelter with serious dental problems that have now been treated, so his future family will need to continue one inexpensive and easy-to-administer medication. He might be past the kitten stage, but he still has years of love and companionship left to give, and deserves a great home as much as any other cat!
