Police: Man accused of sex trafficking teen in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A man has been charged with trafficking a teen in Rock Hill. Police say some of the alleged sex acts happened inside a local business.

Yasser Abdouh Mohmmed Alssiady was arrested on November 7th but detectives say the investigation started in October when they learned he was sexually involved with a 16-year-old, according to a news release from Rock Hill Police.

During the initial investigation, police say, “it was discovered Alssiady did recruit, entice, and engage in commercial sex acts with the victim.”

Detectives also say Alssiady exchanged money, a rental car, and use of another vehicle with the victim as payment for the sex acts, according to a news release.

Some of the sex acts reportedly happened at a business on Herlong Avenue, according to investigators.

Alssiady has been charged with trafficking a person under 18 and criminal sexual conduct in the 1st degree. He is currently in jail without bond.
