Local veteran receives new HVAC system from non-profit

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A local veteran now has a new HVAC system thanks to the support of a non-profit. Purple Heart Homes celebrated Yolanda Hill for her service, who also helped landscape her front and back yard, plus the completion of the HVAC installation by Andersen Heating & Cooling. Yolanda, a U.S. Army National Guard veteran, said her Rocky River home needed repairs but it would have been very hard without the assistance from Purple Heart Homes.

Earlier this year in May, as part of Military Appreciation Month, Purple Heart Homes with Andersen Heating & Cooling surprised Yolanda live on WCCB News Rising when they announced they’ll be installing the new HVAC system!
