‘Flying car’ touches down in North Carolina
It looks like something out of the future but it’s a reality for one woman. She has the first of what’s being dubbed a “flying car.”
The single seater all-electric aircraft from the company Pivotal got a test drive in North Carolina this week.
It was the focus of a demo at the Center for Automotive Research in Northampton County. You only need a regular driver’s license to fly it, no pilot’s license needed.
Federal regulations restrict flights to daylight hours and in non-congested areas only.
