E.B. White’s family upset with DHS for using book title as part of ‘Operation Charlotte’s Web’ immigration crackdown
The family of the author of “Charlotte’s Web” is taking issue with federal immigration officials using the name for their crackdown in Charlotte.
Top Border Patrol official Gregory Bovino referenced a line from the book in a social media post Sunday about Operation Charlotte’s Web.
The granddaughter of the book’s author, E.B. White, released a statement, saying she believed in the rule of law and due process.
