Gold pocket watch from the Titanic up for auction

A timeless piece of history from the Titanic disaster is available.

The gold pocket watch worn by Macy’s co-owner Isidor Strauss when the legendary ship sank is being auctioned off this weekend.

Strauss and his wife, Ida, were among the highest profile people who died in the disaster.

It’s expected to get an asking price of more than $1 million.

The couple was depicted in the 1997 film “Titanic” as holding onto each other as the ship went down.
