“Protect the King,” Concord dad goes viral after gifting son a chess piece
CONCORD, NC – A heartwarming story from earlier this year unintentionally went viral online and has ties to the Charlotte area.
The clip features a local dad, Amenemhet Ashenafi,Β dropping his son, Nassur off to college at Western Carolina University and emotionally gifting him a king chess piece.
