Police investigating deadly stabbing in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that happened in north Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to the 5100 block of Reagan Drive near West Sugar Creek Road.

Upon arrival, officers located one victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead.

No other details have been released. The incident is still under investigation.
