CFD: Incense started fire that displaces dozens of people right before Christmas

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Burning incense is blamed for sparking an apartment fire in east Charlotte. Now, dozens of people don’t have a place to stay a week before Christmas. The large fire started around five Thursday morning at a complex on Farm Pond Lane. Everyone got out safely. Charlotte Fire says this should be a reminder not to leave incense or candles burning unattended.
