Local man accused of beating infant says baby “wouldn’t stop crying”

SALISBURY, N.C. – A Salisbury man is in jail, accused of beating a two-month-old baby. 37-year-old Kevin Morrison, Junior faces felony child abuse charges. The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office says he confessed to hurting the child because he was frustrated the baby wouldn’t stop crying. Doctors say the baby suffered bone fractures and a brain bleed.
