RALEIGH, N.C. – Governor Josh Stein announced that the state of North Carolina is offering rewards of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrests of several murders.
Khari Ikeem Shytez Wilkes was found shot on on Pine Hill Lane in Kannapolis on January 6. Later that evening, Wilkes died from his injuries. At the time of the shooting, Wilkes was in his vehicle, a white 2021 Dodge Challenger, when he was approached from the rear by two assailants.
On May 15, 2024, Brittany Elizabeth Ferguson was driving in Burke County when a large rock was thrown through the windshield of her car on May 15, 2024. Ferguson was instantly killed.
John Luke Moore was shot and killed during a home invasion on Allison Avenue in Gastonia on July 26, 2021. Video surveillance shows three masked suspects breaking into the home and fleeing the scene.
