Mooresville Police: Driver arrested after leading officers on chase

MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Police in Mooresville say 20-year-old Anthony Alonzo is facing several charges after leading officers on a chase. It happened early Sunday morning on I-77. Police say they tried to pull Alonzo over for racing, but he didn’t stop. Alonzo drove into Salisbury before he was eventually arrested. He’s behind bars on a $50,000 bond.
