Deadly shooting investigation underway in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in west Charlotte Wednesday morning.

Police say it happened near the Capitaine Bar and Grill on Rozzelles Ferry Road around 2:30 a.m.

One person was found shot multiple times and was pronounced deceased on scene.

No word yet on what led up to the shooting, or if any suspects are in custody.
