Trump Administration scraps sky-high pasta tariff plan

The Trump Administration is rolling back efforts to charge steep import taxes on pasta from over a dozen Italian makers later this year.

In October, the Commerce Department announced a 92% tariff on the pasta.

Officials say the hike came from what they’re calling unfairly low prices from some Italian manufacturers.

Now, the Trump Administration says the pasta producers have addressed many of their concerns.
