The Edge: Jack Black admits he regrets turning down a major Disney role

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Actor Jack Black revealed that he turned down the role of Syndrome in Disney’s hit movie, The Incredibles. While promoting his new film, Anaconda, he admitted, “I was offered, and I do regret it, saying no. I was offered Syndrome in that fantastic movie The Incredibles β€” one of my favorites of all time, by the way.”

The actor took accountability to being difficult toward the animated film’s director, Brad Bird, as he told him, “This character that you’re offering me is like a villain, but he’s kinda one-dimensional.
