Panthers get Pro Bowl offensive lineman back ahead of Rams game

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Carolina Panthers are getting some help along the offensive line ahead of the team’s first home playoff game since 2015.

Pro Bowl guard Robert Hunt was activated off injured reserve Friday.

Hunt has no injury designation and is set to start Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams. He’sΒ has been out since Week 2 after tearing his left bicep against the Arizona Cardinals.

Hunt signed a five-year, $100 million contract with Carolina in March 2024. He made the Pro Bowl in his first year with the Panthers.

Fellow guard Chandler Zavala was a full participant all week but remains on injured reserve and is out with a calf injury.

The Panthers take on the Rams Saturday in the team’s first playoff game since 2017. Carolina is 10.5-point underdogs but defeated Los Angeles 31-28 earlier this year at Bank of America Stadium.
