Trump administration threatens to pull $50M in federal funding from NC
The Trump administration is threatening to take away $50 million in federal funding from the state of North Carolina.
In a letter to Gov. Josh Stein, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy accused the state of giving out commercial driverβs licenses illegally to who heβs calling foreigners.
The letter demands the state immediately revoke those licenses and pause issuance of class to immigrants until an internal audit has been completed or else they will lose federal funding.Β
