Teen detained in road rage shooting in York County

Police in York, South Carolina are investigating a road rage shooting that left one man hurt.

Police say it happened late Saturday morning on Alexander Love Highway near York Comprehensive High School.

We’re told an 18-year-old man and a 72-year-old man fired shots at each other after an argument on the road escalated.

The 72-year-old was shot in the arm and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 18-year-old was detained by officers.

There is no word on any charges at this time.
