CMPD investigating after one person shot in church parking lot

MECKLENBURG CO., N.C. – An investigation is underway after a shooting in a church parking lot on Eastfield Road. Officials say it happened just after three Wednesday afternoon.

Right now, there’s no word on the condition of the person who was shot or whether police have any suspects.
