The Edge: Kanye West is apologizing…again

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is apologizing for his anti-Semitic remarks and other outlandish behavior in recent years.

The rapper bought an ad in the Wall Street Journal, to publish a letter titled “To Those I’ve Hurt.” He wrote in the published letter that he “lost touch with reality,” and “said and did things” he deeply regrets.

He said he hit rock bottom a few months ago, and his wife encouraged him “to finally get help.” Ye wrote he is not a Nazi or an anti-Semite. West says he’s not asking for sympathy or a free pass, but for patience, understanding, and forgiveness.

West has a new album coming out in March.

Is his this a sincere apology or publicity stunt?
