CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people were seriously injured in a car crash in southwest Charlotte.
It happened on Arrowood Road near Whitehall Executive Park Drive.
Two people sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to Atrium CMC, Medic said.
Medic has responded to 33 separate crashes since midnight.
Officials urged residents to stay off the roads and avoid driving Saturday into Sunday.
Several inches of snow are expected through Saturday with wind chills near 0 Saturday night into Sunday morning. Winter Storm Warnings are in effect as several inches of snow fall Saturday. Extreme Cold Warning are in effect Saturday night into Sunday.
