Dozens of NC DMVs cut their hours; will no longer open at 7AM

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Amid already high wait times, North Carolina’s DMV is cutting its hours. 90 offices across the state will no longer open at 7 AM. Instead, they’ll open at 8 AM.

Officials say the change comes after extra federal cash ran out from the American Rescue Plan Act.

The cut to hours begins Monday, February 9th.
