Wanted drug trafficker found in York County, police say

A wanted drug trafficker was captured in York County, according to police.

Okevius Bigger, 37, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 4 in Clover, South Carolina. He was wanted in connection to various drug trafficking offenses that involved methamphetamine and fentanyl. Police said he was staying on family property to avoid detection.

Bigger’s arrest is the result of a months-long investigation into his drug trafficking activities. Police said he distributed over 3,000 fentanyl pills and 400 grams of methamphetamine, totaling a street value of $70,000.

Bigger is facing the following charges:

  • 10 counts of Trafficking in Fentanyl
  • 5 counts of Trafficking in Methamphetamine
  • Maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for the sale of controlled substances

Bigger is being held at the Gaston County Jail without bond.
