ALBERMARLE, N.C. β Albermarle Police responded to a report of shots fired on Leonard Avenue near Highway 24 on Monday. Officers provided assistance to a juvenile with a gunshot wound who was taken to the hospital and is now in stable condition, according to police.
The suspect, William Abiormi Browne, 19, has been arrested with assistance from the Stanly County Sheriff’s Office.
Brown is charged with attempted first degree murder and is being held without bond.
