Judge orders removal of Confederate flag along I-85
SPARTANBURG CO., S.C. – The massive Confederate flag that has flown over I-85 in Spartanburg County for years has come down.
The move comes after a new court ruling against the Sons of Confederate Veterans. They’re the group that kept the flag flying for so long.
Now, after years of legal battles, a judge finally ruled it must come down due to height requirement violations.
