CHERAW, S.C. – One person died and another was injured in a head-on crash in Chesterfield County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
It happened around 1:25 p.m. on US 1 at Sullivan Road.
Troopers said a 1997 Lincoln Town Car traveling south collided at the intersection with a northbound 2017 Lincoln MKZ.
The Town Car driver was transported to the hospital where they later died. The MKZ driver was injured and transported to the hospital.
No other details have been released. This crash remains under investigation by the highway patrol.
