CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD charged a man for allegedly shooting and killing his long-time girlfriend over the weekend.
Officers responded to a call for service shortly after 6am Sunday, February 15th in reference to a person lying on the ground along Lawton Road in northwest Charlotte, court records indicate.
The victim, 33-year-old Tabulon Reece, was pronounced dead by first responders. Police say Reece had been shot in the head.
Homicide detectives found a video on Reece’s social media from hours prior showing her wearing the same outfit and hanging out with her boyfriend, 37-year-old Nicholas Gandy.
