New 6PM curfew now in effect for teens at Birkdale Village

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – A new curfew is now in effect at the Birkdale Village Shopping Center in Huntersville. Teens are no longer allowed on the property without an adult after six pm.

The move comes after viral video shows dozens of kids holding up traffic in the street and jumping on cars.

Huntersville Police say they are increasing patrols in the area and will assist Birkdale Village management with trespass enforcement.
