Police investigating two separate shootings in Salisbury

SALISBURY, N.C. – Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened Friday night in Salisbury.

The first shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. and stemmed from a family dispute at a home on Audrey Lane. A man suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. He is listed in stable condition, police said.

The second incident involved an exchange of gunfire from occupants in two separate vehicles. This happened around 8:30 p.m. at the Faith Road and Innes Street intersection. Police said one victim arrived at a local hospital with serious injuries but is in stable condition.

Investigators are working to identify everyone involved and determine what led up to the shooting.
