Woman accused of stealing $7.7k in merchandise from Lululemon
A woman is facing numerous charges after being accused of stealing over $7,000 in merchandise from Lululemon in south Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
On Feb. 11, police were contacted by Lululemon staff about a reported larceny that happened at the Atherton Mill store. Approximately $7,700 worth of merchandise was stolen.
Police tracked the suspect’s vehicle down in the University City area. The suspect fled but police were able to recover the abandoned merchandise.
After a continued investigation, police located and arrested 36-year-old Quatoya Morrison on Feb. 17. Police said she has an extensive arrest history spanning multiple jurisdictions. She is facing multiple charges, including larceny, conspiracy, trespassing, and aiding and abetting.
