5 injured in CATS bus crash in Uptown

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Five people were injured in a crash involving a CATS bus in Uptown on Wednesday.

It happened just after 3 p.m. in the middle of the intersection of East 9th Street and North College Street.

Medic responded to the scene and said five people were being evaluated for minor injuries.

It is unclear what caused the crash at this time.

The intersection was cleared around 4 p.m.
