29 students referred to Juvenile Justice after fights at Lancaster High School
LANCASTER, S.C. – Officials say 29 students have been referred to the juvenile justice system after several fights at a high school in Lancaster County.
The fights happened last week on Wednesday, Feb. 18 at Lancaster High School.
In a letter to parents, school leaders say that the fights occurred at separate times throughout the day, and it created a disruptive environment.
Police said they completed 29 juvenile petitions for simple assault related to the incident. The Department of Juvenile Justice is handling each case moving forward.
