Charlotte man facing charges after deputies find him with missing teen girl

PUTNAM CO., FL – A Charlotte man is facing several charges after a missing Gastonia girl was found with him in Florida.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office says they pulled over 37-year-old Joshua Magraff for speeding on South US 17 and found the 16-year-old in his passenger seat. Deputies say Magraff first told them the girl was his cousin. They say the girl gave them several fake names before they were able to figure out who she really was. Deputies also say they also found counterfeit money, drugs and drug paraphernalia inside Magraff’s car.

He is behind bars on a $9,000 bond. The teen girl was taken into the custody of the Department of Children and Families until she can be reunited with her mother.
