2 people shot Friday afternoon at Charlotte motel, 1 has life-threatening injuries

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people are hurt after a shooting Friday in west Charlotte.

It happened at a motel on Lucky Penny Street, just off Freedom Drive, around 1:40 Friday afternoon. MEDIC tells us one of the victims has life-threatening injuries.

So far, there’s no word on any arrests.
