NC Gov attends Citibank’s grand opening of new Ballantyne facility

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – North Carolina Governor Josh Stein was in Charlotte Monday, joining city officials to celebrate the grand opening of Citibank’s massive new office facility in Ballantyne.

The financial giant is investing $16 million into the new office space, and is expected to pour more than $2 billion into the North Carolina economy over the next decade. It’s also expected to bring more than 500 new jobs to the Charlotte area.
