Salisbury Police arrest suspect in deadly shooting at home on Beard Street
SALISBURY, N.C. – An arrest after a deadly shooting in Salisbury. Salisbury Police arrested Namyous Jackson Friday and charged him with first degree murder in the shooting death of Sebastian Rankin, Jr.
Officers responded Thursday to a break-in in progress on Beard Street. They say they found Rankin dead at the secene as well as multiple people hurt. A man and a woman were taken to the hospital. Investigators say the violence stemmed from a domestic dispute that escalated.
Right now, there’s no word on what exactly led up to the violence.
