Epstein jail guard called to testify before House Oversight Committee

WASHINGTON, D.C. – One of the jail guards working the night sex trafficker Jeffery Epstein died in a New York prison has been asked to testify before lawmakers on the House Oversight Committee.

Toval Noel was supposed to check on Epstein every 30 minutes the day he died back in 2019. Now, recently released Epstein files show Noel made large cash deposits in the months surrounding his death and searched online “latest on Epstein in jail” less than an hour before his body was found.

Epstein’s death was previously ruled a suicide amid on-going speculation he was actually killed.
