“No Kings” protests took place in Charlotte and across the country Saturday.
Thousands of people attended the rally at First Ward Park in Uptown Charlotte. Participants gathered at the park before marching the streets of Uptown.
Over 3,000 protests are planned across the United States on March 28 to fight back against President Trump’s administration.
This is the third “No Kings” protest held nationwide. At least 5,500 people gathered for a protest in Charlotte in June 2025. In that rally, CMPD said they made two arrests and used pepper spray after they said protesters were aggressive toward officers.
